CONTROLLING BLOOD CLOT IN AN INJURY
A person is injured when there is an accident. An injured person had blood flowing from his/her wounds. Excessive blood flow may be dangerous to his life. So, blood flowing from the wound should be controlled. Hence the injured person should be washed with clean water, and a clean cloth should be folded and tied tightly as a bandage over the wound. That bandage can be removed. That bandage can be removed, so that blood flows downwards and then retied again. If a hand or a leg is injured then that should be kept in an upright position.
IF IT IS FRACTURE
There are four ways by which we can know whether the injured person has a fracture.
That is by;
. Excessive pain
- Swelling
- Immovable state
- Band.
FIRST AID FOR A HEAD INJURED VICTIM
- Prolonged dizziness
- Fits
- Vomiting
- Blood flow from ear and nose-shows that the injured persons had a head injury.
